Harper Holohan December 31, 2009

Last Thursday I got to photograph one of the coolest things I have ever shot photographs of ever. My really, really good friends Chris and Rachel asked me to do one of the most important things in their marriage: shoot the first pictures of their new baby.
So, without further delay, here are some of the first photos of Harper Grey Holohan born at 1:42pm on December 31, 2009. Enjoy!

Bobby and Alesia~ Brownwood, TX

This last week (Thanksgiving week) we had the chance to not only see our family in Lubbock, TX but also to see some more family (our best friends from camp) just a few hours away in Brownwood, TX.
Bobby and Alesia were in our wedding and we were in theirs.
We all started dating around the same time and did a bunch of stuff together. They are our dirtbiking friends and our camping friends. It has been such a blessing to know them the past few years. So it was an absolute honor to be able to shoot their family pictures in their new home, TX. AND it was special because there is a new addition to the family. Baby Rylee!! She is the cutest little girl ever.
But don't let me decide that for you......take a look at the pictures.

Karl and Shyla~Jerome, AZ

I had the opportunity last week to shoot engagement pictures for some friends of mine from camp. Karl and Shyla worked on summer staff for us this past summer and it was awesome to hear of their engagement a few months later. They wanted to head to Jerome for their pictures because of all the art and really cool textures everywhere. It was a blast to spend the afternoon with them. They are fun to be around so this really wasn't work at all.
Enjoy.

Jarred and Jess

It's been quite a while since I have posted photo shoots on here so I thought I'd start with the latest greatest shoot.
This past Saturday, I got the chance to shoot some pics for two of Tye and I's really great friends. I got the privilege of shooting Jarred and Jess' wedding a year and a half ago and they came to me wanting some shots for Christmas gifts. We got more than we bargained for. The weather was incredible for November in Prescott, downtown wasn't very crowded, and Jarred and Jess came looking good and ready for a good time. It was an absolute pleasure. Here are some of the faves from the morning.

This is my favorite shot of the entire day.

Jess started making homeade beanies a while back and these are two of her creations. She sells them. If you are looking for a cool, unique Christmas gift let me know. I'll get you in touch with her.
We found this really cool wall that just begged to have this picture taken. The caption on the wall reads "Where do you stand? Are you Sitting?" Great job having fun with this one.

Jarred is always saying really goofy stuff to Jess and I have no doubt that this was one of those times.

Thanks for a great morning you guys!
