Photo of the Day- Friday April 30

The guy who lives next to us has a pretty awesome older car with these really cool wheels. The car has been sitting there for a long time and is a sore spot to the neighborhood I think. But, it's still pretty cool.

Photo of the Day- Thursday April 29

We live on 62nd Street, as noted by the sign. It stems off of a pretty busy roadway that goes through Vancouver. This is a look at that busy street. It's the roadway to all fast food wonderfulness, the Post Office, and more.

Headshots April 28

Thomas is an aspiring actor in the Vancouver area. He's looking to start the summer getting lots and lots of local acting jobs and needed some headshots taken. We started off with no rain and thanks to the wonderful Pacific Northwest, we ended up with a slight down pour. But, I do think these turned out pretty awesome. Best of luck, Thomas. Thanks for the shoot!

Wednesday, April 28th Photo of the Day

Moving to the Pacific Northwest has had us discovering all sorts of colors that Arizona just doesn't have. This is a cherry blossom tree at a house across the street from our apartment. Beautiful colors!

Photo Of The Day

I've decided to challenge myself. For the next month, I am going to shoot one photo a day. Each week will have a theme that goes with it. Therefore making me have to work harder to capture stuff with the theme in it.
The rules:
-I am only allowed to take one photo. No multiple shots to see if I got the one I wanted. Just ONE shot to say what I want to say for the day.
-I can only use my 50mm lens. This makes it a little tricky because it's a fixed lens. No zooming in unless I physically get closer.
-The only editing that can be done is color fix. No cropping. No fancy actions. Just straight up color fixing.

I'm really excited about this project and hopefully, you will be excited too! It's a fun way to challenge yourself as a photographer AND get your camera out of the bag for everyday use. Join in with me on this shoot. Post your pic of the day and let's see how many One Shot Wonders we can get floating around.
Alright. Enough of the rules stuff. Let's dive in to today's photo. Well, first of all I'd better tell you the theme for this first week. Neighborhoods. Since most people haven't really seen mine, I thought I'd start there. Enjoy.
